A British Standards Institute (BSI) accredited quality management system designed for Anite's Secure Information Solutions Ltd (SIS).
Anite required a quality accreditation - ISO 9001:2000 with TickIT quality management system - for its Secure Information Solutions business.
By implementing a quality system and gaining certification from auditor Det Norske Veritas (DNV) in July 2005, SIS is now able to demonstrate a commitment to quality as a principal management objective for all solutions and products.
UK government-sponsored projects require this commitment to quality when companies bid for providing solutions.
The project was designed to allow for company rebranding if required, so that it could be sold to other divisions, for example Anite's Local Government division, which adopted the concept in 2006.
